The Association will reimburse the cost for certifications required for your role; please submit to Coach/Staff Reimbursement Form
Any volunteer who steps on the ice, and/or is on the teams bench MUST have all certifications, and the Vulnerable Sector Check/Screening; otherwise the OWHA will not approve a Team Roster.  This is necessary for insurance coverage of staff AND the player.

Make sure you complete all requirements for the role you register to.

> HTCP Level 1 (Trainers)  All teams must have a trainer on the bench and available at team practices. 
> Vulnerable Sector Check - Mandatory New Process 2024/2025 (All Staff to Complete) The Ontario Hockey Federation is managing the collection of VSC.  Follow this link and read through documents thoroughly.  The volunteer letter that you upload to the Durham Police is found in the documentation under OHF.
> How_to_Submit_your_VSC_Document_(June_19)  Follow this link to ensure you upload the VSC correctly, once obtained from your local police.
> RAMP Registration (All Volunteers/Staff to Complete)  On this link, proceed to Coach/Staff Registration and pick role you are volunteering in.  This step is necessary for our association registrar to add you to the TEAM ROSTER
> RIS Activity Leader (All Volunteers/Staff to Complete) This certification is required only ONCE by the volunteer.  Once completed your certification will be noted on the OWHA database.
