The Oshawa Girls Hockey Association (Oshawa Lady Generals) is one of the premier, established and reputable amateur girl sports organizations in Durham Region. We offer House League, Competitive, and Senior Level leagues, and we pride ourselves on being an association that develops, not just hockey skills, but also a sense of community and sportsmanship. We are looking for sponsors that share these goals and want to support and develop these young women/players' growth while growing their own business through advertising.
With the start of the 2023/2024 hockey season, the Oshawa Lady Generals are offering an opportunity for local business, like yours, to become Team Sponsors. Your contributions will enable our teams to fully participate in many local and regional tournaments. Sponsorship will bring community branding and recognition to your business with local households that support hockey. With almost 170 players registered for 10 Competitive teams, 150 players registered for 10 House League teams, and 200 players in our Senior Women's league, many households within the community you serve are represented. Sponsorship of the Oshawa Girls Hockey Association makes good business sense.
The Oshawa Girls Hockey Association is guided by dedicated coaches and parent volunteers, and consists of hard-working and talented players who love the game of hockey. Through our program, the girls develop sportsmanship, honesty, courage, physical fitness, and respect, as well as lifetime friendships and memories. These skills enable them to become healthy, responsible young women.
Our primary revenue sources are registration fees paid by families, proceeds from fundraisers, and donations received from generous individuals and businesses. Since these funds do not cover all of the organization's operating expenses, families often must raise their own funds to pay for equipment, training fees, ice rentals, travel, and tournament entry fees. The average cost per player, in Competitive, per year to participate is $2500. Sponsoring our teams is mutually beneficial to the league, its players, and your company. Please take a moment to review and select the sponsorship package that best fits your business and budget. We are flexible and would be happy to discuss tailoring your involvement.
