Winter League: Senior House League runs from September to March, and in 2023/2024 we had 18 teams!
Following a survey from the 23/24 season, please note that registration restrictions to a specific division may apply.

Season Length: September 8 2024 to March 30, 2025
Sundays 2:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.
Campus Ice Centre, 2200 Simcoe St N. Oshawa
Open Division (registering 8 to 10 teams)
The Open Division is for members who are at the skill level to play hockey at faster pace whether they previously played for house league or competitive teams.
Slapshots are permitted in this division.
Rec Division (registering 8 to 10 teams)
The Rec Division is for the beginner and those who play at a house league level.
If you are a skilled and looking to participate at a fast pace, consider registering to the Open Division.
NO Slapshots permitted.
Members who currently play at a competitively skilled level, or have played coed or on a rep hockey or ringette team, should understand the executive may enforce the division to which you register.
TEAMS - are selected through a draft process and NO Team entries will be permitted.
A request of ONE teammate member can be made (restrictions might apply).
Proof of Insurance.
For members who have registered and paid in full to a secondary OWHA team, you may be eligible for a reimbursement of you’re the dual OWHA membership portion. It will be your responsibility to apply for this reimbursement, via our website form that will be posted on the site in September.
IMPORTANT UPDATES for 2024/2025
> Upon registering, for safety purposes, the executive reserve the right to move a player from one division to another if felt that a player has signed up for a division that doesn't match their skill set. You will be notified by email if this applies to your registration.
> registration refunds for movement from one division to another, following team drafts, will NOT be granted UNLESS there are spaces available and/or there are members on a wait list to replace the spot exited
> up to December 31st, refunds are permitted for medical, injury etc, should a member not be able to play, less prorated playing fees up to the time the executive are informed of such request. Admin fee of up to $75 may apply.
> No refunds permitted January 1st onward unless there is a player on the wait list to take your spot. Admin fee of up to $75 may apply.
> the registration packages are listed under division Senior House League, and noted as either Open (experience player) or Rec (beginner to low intermediate player)
