The Oshawa Lady Generals U9A team delivered an incredible performance at the Oshawa Lady Generals Winter Classic, battling their way to a well-earned silver medal on home ice.
To secure their spot in the championship game, the Lady Gens faced two strong opponents and rose to the challenge. A decisive 1–0 victory over the Brock Jr. Badgers showcased their defensive strength and composure, while a hard-fought 2–2 tie against the Whitby Wolves sealed their place in the finals.
In the championship game, the girls competed with heart and determination. While the final result didn’t go their way, the experience was a powerful lesson in resilience: learning how to push through adversity, support one another, and keep competing until the very end.
With two silver medal finishes this season, the U9A Lady Generals continue to demonstrate growth, teamwork, and pride every time they hit the ice.
Congratulations to the players and coaches on another fantastic tournament showing! The entire Lady Gens community is so proud of you!
