What a weekend for the Oshawa Lady Generals U15BB team! From February 13–15, the Lady Gens competed at the Durham West Bolts & Heart Tournament and skated away as tournament champions after a thrilling final.
The championship game was everything you could ask for: tight, intense, and incredibly competitive. Oshawa found themselves down by a goal through the first two periods, but this team never backed down.
In the third period, the Lady Gens dug deep. They battled to tie the game and kept the pressure on. With just two minutes left, Oshawa buried the go-ahead goal to take a dramatic 2–1 victory and secure the championship.
The comeback win showcased the team’s resilience, determination, and belief in one another. From relentless forechecking to steady defensive play and clutch scoring, every player contributed to an unforgettable finish.
Congratulations to the U15BB players and coaches on an incredible tournament performance! Your hard work, teamwork, and heart were on full display all weekend long. The entire Lady Gens community is proud of you!
