11B are Golden at the 13th Annual Markham Starfest
Lady Gens 11B battle their way to the top for the win.
What a weekend for our Oshawa Lady gens U11B girls, winning the Markham Starsfest tournament!
Two gritty wins on day 1 kept everyone on the edge of their seat and set the tone for the rest of the tournament.
Stellar goaltending by both girls throughout and rock solid team defence was accompanied by an unwavering will and drive to win battles as well as score timely goals.
In the final game a goal within the first minute proved to be enough. The girls continued to battle throughout the game, putting forth a complete team effort to secure the 1-0 win and bring home the gold!
Shout out to the parents, coaches and families for their support this weekend. It was amazing and really rallied the girls throughout!
What a way to start the season and with continued hard work and dedication the sky is the limit!
