Requirements for the 2025/2026 Season:
Checking your status of Background Checks: Log into Spordle, Click on your Member profile, go to Background Checks where it lists the status of VSC and Declaration
Information bulletin: MANDATORY PROCESS for Vulnerable Sector - OWHA Screening Summary 2025/2026 (Important to Read)
Valid VSC > is 2023 onwards. If older than this you must apply to obtain a current one.
Declaration: If VSC is current, you MUST complete the Screening Declaration every season
If you require a new VSC and live in Durham Region, go to the DRPS Website to apply.
Volunteer Letter: The letter to obtain at volunteer cost can be found on the OHF website, at this link
