Volunteer Requirements (Oshawa Girls Hockey Association)

Thank you for considering your time to become a volunteer for our association!

Staff require certifications and a Vulnerable Sector Check, as mandated by the OWHA, to be permitted on a Team Roster.
The association will reimburse to any approved staff the costs of the courses required.  

Staff are ALL members who are on the ice, on the bench, managers or assisting in the dressing rooms;
All Stall MUST have;

• Respect in Sport Activity Leader  (Never expires)
• Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) - click for more details.  A VSC, does have an expiry, and yearly declarations are required.
• And MUST register in RAMP as Coach/Staff Registration

Additional Certifications required for:

• Trainers - HTCP Certificate (Level 1)
• Coaches - refer to the OWHA site Bench Staff > Coach Clinics, for information and registration
• Visit Spordle to review expiry dates of any certification you have obtained.

All staff must register to RAMP, as Coach/Staff so they can be added to the team Official Roster
