Oshawa Lady Generals Competitive Program (Rep Hockey)
The Oshawa Lady Generals strives to promote the ideals of good sportsmanship and fair play in all players, coaches, members, volunteers, and spectators as well as fostering life skills through a well-regulated amateur hockey program. The competitive (or rep) program aims to provide a positive and welcoming environment to develop highly skilled female hockey players. Rep players engage in a full range of practice, skills development, and game opportunities, as well as exciting tournaments and team building events. The Oshawa Lady Generals deliver a program that is in-line with all Hockey Canada, Ontario Women's Hockey Association, and Long-Term Athlete Development guidelines.
Involvement in the Competitive Program
Oshawa offers competitive programs for girls from ages 6 to 18. Competitive teams hold tryouts in the spring of each year. Coaching and training staff for each competitive team are trained and certified, and are provided with mentorship opportunities to support their own professional development.
