MANDATORY EQUIPMENT - House League

Full equipment must be worn by all players for all practices and games, for safety and OWHA Policy.

MOUTH GUARDS
The wearing of mouth guards at practices and games is very strongly encouraged. Mouth guards not only protect the teeth, but are effective at preventing concussions in youth hockey players, as shown in recent research. In the interest of player safety, OGHA strongly suggests players fit a comfortable mouth guard that they can get used to wearing on a regular basis.
