What an unforgettable weekend for the Oshawa Lady Generals! We are incredibly proud to celebrate both our U11AA and U11BB teams, who were crowned OWHA Championship Playoff winners in their divisions.
U11BB – Champions vs. London Devilettes
The U11BB Lady Generals capped off an incredible playoff run with a thrilling 2–1 victory over the London Devilettes in the championship game.
Finishing the playoffs with an outstanding 6–0–1 record, this team showed resilience all the way through — battling back in multiple games where they trailed early and never giving up. Their full team effort and “play to the final whistle” mindset paid off in the final, where they scored the game-winning goal with just three minutes remaining.
U11AA – Champions vs. Oakville Hornets
The U11AA Lady Generals also delivered an incredible performance, finishing their playoff run with a 6–0–1 record after an outstanding season.
In the championship game against the Oakville Hornets, the Lady Gens showed remarkable composure and determination. In the final minutes, while down a player, Oshawa faced a 6-on-4 advantage as Oakville pulled their goalie in a push to tie the game. The team held strong under pressure, shutting down the attack and securing the win.
Both teams demonstrated exceptional skill, resilience, teamwork, and heart throughout their playoff journeys. These championship victories are a testament to their hard work and commitment all season long.
