🏒 Oshawa Lady Generals Announces Dave Besco as U11AA Head Coach for the 2026–2027 Season
The Oshawa Girls Hockey Association is excited to announce Dave Besco as the U11AA Head Coach for the 2026–2027 season.
Now entering his 14th year behind the bench, Dave brings a wealth of coaching experience across both boys’ AAA and girls’ high-performance hockey. He spent five seasons as an assistant coach with Clarington’s boys AAA program from U9 through U13, gaining extensive experience in a fast-paced, highly competitive development environment.
On the girls’ side, Dave has served as a U9 head coach, an assistant coach at U11AA, and most recently worked with the 2014 Klevr Young Queens Elite team, supporting top players through advanced skill development and competitive tournament play.
Dave’s coaching philosophy focuses on strong skill development, positive communication, and teaching the game the right way. He strives to create an environment where athletes work hard, support one another, and grow, both as hockey players and as people.
We are thrilled to welcome Dave into this role and look forward to an exciting season ahead under his leadership.
