On November 29th, the
Oshawa Lady Generals are turning their passion on the ice into action off the ice with a community food drive in support of
Feed the Need Durham.
As part of Oshawa Lady Generals Day, nearly every team in our association will be hitting the ice at either the Campus Ice Centre or Delpark Homes Centre, and we’re inviting our entire Lady Gens family to join us in making a difference!
📦 Bring a non-perishable food donation to any Lady Generals game that day. Collection boxes will be set up at both arenas for teams and families to drop off items. Every can, box, or jar helps feed individuals and families across the Durham Region this holiday season.
If you can’t make it to a game, you can still help!
💻 Monetary donations can be made online by scanning the QR code on our event poster or visiting justgiving.com/page/oshawaladygenerals.
Donations will remain open throughout the holiday season until January 3, 2026, and our goal is to raise $2,000 — in addition to the generous food donations collected across the association.
🥫 Most Needed Items Include:

Canned protein (tuna, peanut butter, beans, canned meat)

Hearty canned foods (soups, stews, chili, canned pasta)

Grains (rice, pasta, cereal, oatmeal)

Canned fruits and vegetables

School snacks (granola bars, crackers, fruit snacks)
